Having trouble with a disc brake conversion kit I bought from a dealership who caters to classic cars. Three years ago I bought this kit and had a local garage install it for me, I dont drive the car much at all but since day 1 it has had a hard pull to the left when you have to get on the brakes. I have taken it back to the same garage to check it for me they have bled the system, checked the rear brakes (still drum on rear) and put a new caliper and line on the left side which did not change anything, they are going to check the right side next. When they drove it they mentioned it will pull some to the right at times and as I explained when getting on the brakes hard it pulls hard to the left. The kit was made up by Classic Muscle after a phone call for some insight they say they have since started using an outside vender to supply these kits. Anyone had or know a possible solution to this? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

The left sounds like it is working fine, they should have looked at the right. You are not getting as much line pressure to the right side. Most kits all come from Right Stuff Detailing now.

 

Figured out the problem from the factory the proportioning valve was turned backwards which is why the lines that came with the kit did not work and new ones had to be made. Corrected the problem had new lines made once again and now it is working fine.
