Did I loose my shirt on this deal?
I bought this 1968 from a local farmer by me. I noticed it for sale, on side of the road way up on the hill one day. I paid $6,250.00. Runs and drives, comes with new 1/4's(not installed), hood, rear valance (does not really need one), 169K vin# 124378N422017, Motor # VO4I7ME 422017. Going to check the trans next. Car has no rust in trunk or floor. Pretty much reason I bought it. Very solid. What do you think... Has a 1986 inspection on it..

Hard to say without pictures, but if as solid as it sounds, might not be a bad deal. You have the 210 h.p. 327, 2 barrel, with a powerglide, unless the trans has been changed.
The engine is the original numbers matching to the body, which is a great thing to have.

Looks to me like you got a heck of a deal on a numbers matching car especially if the tranny turns out to be N.M. also. Check the rear too and let us know what those numbers are. Post some better pics once its all cleaned up.
