Getting some numbers deciphered from my car. Motor (nom) comes back as 1974 Police application. Ha!!! Like Akroyd said; Cop motor, cop tires, cop suspension. Coded with suffix CMJ, this comes back as police motor with no horsepower claim, and 4 barrel carb. They paired this motor with a muncie m21 from a 65 Chevelle, I believe. Ugh.....

 

so it's been driven hard...and 74 had lots of emission bull**** restrictions
