yeah you can go either way. but with going with the rs hidden headlights remember to account for the extra costs of all the extra stuff that goes with them.

67/68 RS cars have mounting brackets on the fender for the headlight assemblies.

hidden lamps are an impressive feature, I love them. I'm glad I spent the extra time and expense replacing my old crappy vacuum ones. I think i spent aprox $1200 for everything: grill, molding, electric conversion kit, etc.

^ your car is a 67 right? it should have had electric motors from the factory the vacuum system was introduced in 68 and was used in 69 as well. i wonder why someone converted it to the vacuum?

I was not involved with the removal the old lamp assembly, I just assumed it was vacuum...my bad. I took over this project after assisting with the major body work, we ordered rs fenders but I believe the replacement lamp assembly had a bracket for standard fenders. Also, If you can, check the fit of the grill & lamp assembly before painting as I had to make some adjustments after the fact.

you'll also need the rs frnt valance, it has the turn signals instead of in the stnd grill. i'm sure you'll find every thing you need in NPR or Classic Industry Catalogs etc. I think somebody offers a 69' style valance for 67' as well, it has the cool round signal/parking lights. would have looked nice on mine as i'm going w/the no frnt bumper look.
