Camaroboy, Is you car a L30 or a SS? Cause it can't be both. You sig could be very confusing to someone doing research.

Thank you all. From what I understand, X44 could receive 350, but it was L65, 250hp 2bbl V8.

Correct. If I was seriously looking at the 69, I'd still want to look up the engine suffix code just to know for sure what it is. Sometimes a seller will say "yeah the car has a 350", to up the price. Others may not even have a clue about what they have, and can only go by the story the previous owner told them. It's really not going to make much difference on the value of the car, since it's not a special package model, but it's still good to know, for peace of mind.

my car is a L30 m20 camaro. when i bought the car it already had an original ss hood on it and all the holes drilled for the ss badges. but the entire drivetrain is #s matching. its a 275hp 327 with the correct original 12 bolt and multi leaf rear springs. most came with single exaust and this car still had it when i got it(but the muffler blew apart on the way home when it was bought). also they have a proportioning valve on the driver side of the subframe and mine is still there. basically they are ss cars with 327's and no badges since the underside is all ss stuff

So the car is a L30/M20 car that is a SS clone.

yes technically its a clone due to badges and hood but everything else is original on the car. the interior is all original, all of the suspension is all original to the car except for the shocks i replaced the original last years. but all the bushings, ball joints bearings, leaf springs, a arms are all original to the car and have never been touched. the tranny and the rear end have never been out of the car. i just pulled the motor. the tranny still has the original back up light switch and it still works all the wiring is original and all still works like the door buzzer when key is left in. so if i wanted to go back to 100% stock it wouldnt be much work but its basically a ss car on the bottom so i badged it.

T0930HD is what was given to me so it is 350ci/250HP L65 with TH350. What was surprise though was the seller said it also has 4 barrel quadra jet, expecting 2bbl.

What I am struggling at the moment is for 26K, I can get X44 with 350, nice color (blue), clean/solid undercarriage, etc.. Finance side of me is telling me to go after 67 RS convertible instead for better investment but it has over 120K, not built, paint is good but not so hot about color (red). But then it is more desirable and not too available convertible...

Well, I wouldn't be too concerned about the missing 2 barrel setup. One of the first things we did was yank off the restrictive old 2 barrel intake/carb and slap on a 4 barrel.
The convertible would be a better investment, but you gotta go with what floats your boat. Which one puts a bigger smile on your face when you're behind the wheel?

Not sure how much you checked out the floors and rocked under the cars but on the rag top rusted rocker panels are a major repair. You want to make sure not only does it look good but there is no sign of a patch job. The rocker panels on a rag top are structural. Make sure the car still have the center brace, this bolts right to the underside of the floor. Many get removed so duel exhaust can be added. The car can get damaged if driven without that support.
