Default Auto aftermarket shifter cover for factory console

Hi all,

I recently made this shifter cover for a customer and it was communicated to me that nobody makes a shifter cover to fit factory consoles for aftermarket auto shifters.

This was made on a 3d printer and is made of plastic.

Just wondering if this is the case? Photos are here: Pictures

I used Creo to design it and a Makerbot Replicator 2 to print it and yes it was black. In person it blends in like it was factory!

I have a 3d printer at work that I need to replace. It is about 10 years old and no longer working. Thanks for the info.

depending on what you use it for....you can't beat the price of a makerbot or a Type A machine. I just ordered a Type A Machine.

Yes, it's true. Nobody makes covers for the various shifters that will fit a non factory automatic shifter. I found it strange when I put a B&M Megashifter in my '71 console, and I also had to build a cover to make it look cleaner with my console.
I just fabbed a aluminum sheet metal cover and then covered it with black naugahyde self adhesive material. Not a factory looking as yours but it worked.
