Default Any tips for Car that flooded?!?

I haven't had time to post, been rebuilding my home. In early August the "Great Flood of 2016" flooded my house and unfortunately my car was a victim as well. I was able to put it on jack stands before the waters got there. water got up to about the starter on my motor and i'm trying to figure out besides changing all the fluids, what else are things i should/shouldn't do before getting it going again? any tips would be greatly appreciated!

If there was any chance that water got into the fuel system, I'd add some dry gas to your tank just to be safe. I guess there could also be the chance that water got into the rear end housing, via the rearend gasket or even into the tranny via the pan gasket. I'd pull them just to be sure. Maybe check any suspension area that gets greased and add some grease, I'd also check the brakes system for rusted areas.
Better safe than sorry. Good luck

thank you sir! Rear end was FULL of water, already pulled it apart, cleaned it out and put in fresh oil. Also changed tranny fluid which had no signs of water. I'll get on the dry gas and greasing fittings, could use that either way!
