69 rs/ss value?
I have a 69 Camaro I am thinking of selling. I purchased it back in 1991 and still havent found time to work on it. It is a complete 69 Camaro rs/ss, approximately 85000 original miles. Numbers matching 350 with many, many options. Houndstooth, twelve bolt, ac, tilt, deluxe, fold down rear seat, power windows, rear defroster , probably forgetting some. Trouble is it has been sitting so long it needs a total restoration and I need some advice on what it may possibly be worth. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
do you have a pictures of the car? a car like you are describing on the low end, meaning full of rust, would be around 7-10k if the body is rust free probably around 15k depends on how much stuff can be saved.

I agree with Camaro68ss. Make sure you have every scrap of paper and make sure the car looks like it has been sitting since 1991. There are so many clones out there now with numbers matching and full documentation. Problem is none of the documents from that era where designed to be hard to forge. Anyone can scan in some real documents and change the numbers and print it out on aged paper and even pros cannot tell. There are even online services that will make all the documents you want. The law is not broken until you use the fake documents to increase the value of car. In many cases the current owner has NO idea the car is not real.
A numbers matching car unrestored bought in 1991 is most likely not faked. In 91 the cars were not worth enough to get the engine re-stamped numbers matching you really need to sell the 23 years in storage part of the car to hit the 15k mark. Might take a little time to find a buyer are 15k but they are out there.
