69 camaro
I have a question i hope one of you can answer. I have an opportunity to buy a 69 base model camaro with a 327. at,ps, and 116,000 original miles. it is running, has no rust, and has been in the same family since new. the owner says it has a few small dings and the upholstery is slightly worn, but other than that, it's very nice. it is stock and completely original. Is it worth $10,000. I have not seen it yet, but i will post more if/when i do.

A 69 Camaro that's "original owner, all stock, solid no rust, just has a few dings, and a slightly worn interior" is definitely a good deal at that price. As long as it really is as nice as it sounds. Also check to see if the engine is matching numbers, that always makes a "stock" car more valuable.

They live in a desert? 118K and and 40 years with the original paint and no rust? You have any idea how rare that is? Where I live you could find a garage kept 69 with 15K and it looked perfect on the outside. You still would most likely need floor pans. A true original rust free 69 is worth 10K without a driveline.
Make sure you check it real close underneath. Many of these cars had rust damage by the mid 70s. The car was designed to last 5-8 years.
