A few things to do to make it better? It is all original as far as I know. 1 owner and it was my step mom.

The engine is all original and looks like it could be spruced up. Would it be good to repaint engine back to original orange and or get new parts to make it sparkle or just leave original stuff as is?

Not sure how to tell you this........ uhhhh...... was it advertised as an RS?
Why do you think its an RS?
Did your step mom remove the headlight covers? Or did she get a new front grill?

I would add the SS emblems and a white nose stripe...a SS hood would also be a plus. But , that's just my opinion

Still not so sure its an SS. The 327 badge is what I am going on and the lack of an SS hood. I could be wrong. Can you get a picture of the trim tag?

EDIT: I just realised that sounded bad. I am not trying to call anyone out or anything like that. I mean its possible that the car was in a wreck and the hood replaced with a standard 68 hood, or it was bought without the SS hood louvers. And the SS could have been ordered with a 327 as well. I am just wondering about it is all.
