Hmmm. depends on if it came that way. Can you post a picture of the trim tag. On the fire wall behind the power brake booster. If you had the 'broadcast sheet' or build sheet it would be helpfull.

I just looked at your photobucket pics, nice cars. I dig the paint on the one car and the shaker just makes that engine bay, time to redo that bay.
I dont think the car came with that 427, if it di clearely it was modified. You still should find the trim tag and see what the car came with. What are the specs on the mil anyway?

Nice car. It will take a lot of work to return it to original condition. It is a 1968 model, not a 1967. That 427 is not a big block.

Take care,

Yeah its a 68 not 67, and its a small block, but it could still be 427CID.
Where is the car at now?
If you want to sell the seats, tack, and shifter let me know . I might be intrested in them if you dont want to much for them
Nice car though

I need to recheck... but I thought only the 67 model had the ignition switch in the dash, I could be mistaken.

I am going to still say it started life as a 67.
You paid a really good price at 11k. Depending on what you do to it and how it all turns out you might get 19 - 20 for it.

If it started out as a 67 then a lot of parts were exchanged for 68 parts. For instance the front grill with its elongated signal lamps are 68. The 67 had round lamps. The marker lamp on the fenders in front of the wheel opening were only installed on the 68. This car does not have the vent window on the door. Only the 67 had that. Instead the 68 had astro ventilation which can be seen on the photos of the dash. Only 67s with air-conditioning had that. The rear tail lamps have a raised bar between the read tail light and the white reverse lamp. Only 68 had that. 67 was flat straight across.
