Haven't been on this forum for a while but now have an issue I need help with.
My 67 RS/SS convertible is now being driven a bit more now that I'm in So. Calif. Have owned the car for about 5 yrs and am loving it. Last Sat. I was heading home on the 405 and there is a major dip/bump whatever that I hit at about 70 mph. Came thru it ok but when I got home the passenger side headlight cover was open. And when I pull the light switch the driver side will not operate at all. Lights work fine but not the covers. In fact, when I manually close the open passenger door then turn on the ignition, the passenger door opens. HUH???
These have worked fine since I've owned the car so don't know if the jarring caused this issue or it is just a coincidence?
Anyway, anyone in Orange County, Ca. know these cars and could diagnose the problem? Willing to travel some for the right shop.
Thanks.
