I have a couple of questions on the 1967 headlight assemblies

We have 2 new motors, limit switches and all the new bushings/washers in the housings. Also new wiring harnesses from American Autowire that includes the diode kit for the RS front headlights.

I only noticed 1 set of limit switches as we took the car apart. Now that I'm putting it back together I'm wondering how the limit in the open position is controlled? The limit switches we installed are on the bucket and closes as the headlight door hinge makes contact.

In the open position I don't recall any limit switch, is there supposed to be one?

The assemblies seem to move rather easily, there is not indication in any manual on how tight to make the nut on the motor shaft where the teflon washers, clamp washers and wave washer sandwich the motor arm. Should it move easily?

Thank you for the help.

Looks like I just found my answer, looking at the AAW drawings I see connections for a limit switch on the radiator support. So I need to figure out where and how those mount.
