67 Roof Drip Molding Installation
Has anyone installed new repro roof drip molding on a 67 with a vinyl top?
I'm installing new roof drip molding on my 67 which has a new vinyl top. The vinyl overlaps the roof drip rail and was trimmed at the bottom edge of the rail. Should it go that far? It doesn't look like the molding is wide enough to go over it. It looks to me like the top edge of the molding should only cover a small portion of the vinyl, rather than the vinyl laying completely over the rail to it's bottom edge. I don't want to apply too much pressure to the molding, which would of course bend it. I also don't want to trim too much vinyl off for obvious reasons.
Any suggestions? If you've actually done this I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks.
