My 68 had a bb and a sig 4 speed but a brought it with out the motor will a 350 bolt to the trans? And if I got a console for it would it line up with the shifter or do a have to find a old shifter from thanks

 

I believe the bbc and sbc's have the same bellhousing patterns so yes it should bolt up. as for the shifter I would also think it would fit too. it should basically be a direct conversion as far as the transmission goes.

 

bb and sb had different crossmembers but the trans will work with a 350 no problem, the bb crossmember moves the trans 1 inch to one side (cant remember which?)

 

One inch to the right along with the engine frame mounts so the exhaust manifolds will clear the ps box.
