(TSTONE) Yeah, it is a 327 210hp powerglide. I am going to be upgrading to a 4b carb and intake soon. Which cam did you go with?

My first Camaro was a '67 RS 327/210 with a three speed which I traded in on my '69 Z/28. I upgraded the cam in my '67 to the Chevy 327/350hp one, I should have changed to different heads at the same time as well as 4v carb, but time ran out in '69 and I traded for the Z.

The 327 was the engine for the Z-28
the 302 was the Z motor not the 327

Here we go again. We are both right. The Z-28 came with a 302 - but, it was a 327 block with a 283 crank. I guess it wasn't a true 327 since the crank was smaller so I will conceed - you are more right.. Anyways, cfdtd, keep us posted, got any pictures?

you are correct - but the problem is that so many dont know or take the time to learn that part - so we wind up with people swearing their all original Z is an original 327/350/396/454 car

Are you sticking with that 10 bolt. DTS told me if I stick with street tires and a auto that it will be fine .(beefed up new parts)
And what dia tire and RPM are you at with that 373 gear.

right now planning on sticking with the 10B and just installing a posi carrier

everything ive read has indicated that it will be fine for my HP - you still may want to consider a 12 if and when you go with your 383 setup

right now im sporting 295/50/15's out back and turning about 3500 @ 80mph
