My cousin has taken the leap and fullfilled a dream. He has purchased (2) 1st Gen Camaros to restore. One for himself and one for his son's first car. He wanted a project that he and his 14 year old son could "tackle" together. We'll he fopund them.
Hisson likes the '68 SS and he is going to restore the '67 coupe. I'm sure I'm going to spend many a weekend in his garage for a while.
We were getting the basics down and I have run into a snag on the '67. I doubt the engine is original but "you never know". I got the following #'s off the Engine block, right side, Stamped on a machined flat. V1213TJ7.......the 7 could be a Z. What is this engine? It appears to me to be a 327????? But I'm not a camaro expert yet. This is all new to me???
