Default 2" Drop Spindles

Slowly I haev been re-assembling my 1967 RS Camaro and I finally got the front suspension mostly back on. I replaced all parts in the front end.... New tie rods, Inner and Outer etc.. When I connected the outer tie rods I noticed that the clearance between the outer tie rod and the tire was about 1/8" to 1/4" due to the location of the arm on the spindle. Is this going to cause any issue? Do I need to get a spacer? I have a pic which I will try to post later tonight when I get off of work.

Wasn't sure if I cornered a little hard if the tire role might cause and issue.

I'm curious, are you running a wider than stock rim/tire combination? 14" or 15"? It is close, but I don't think it could roll far enough to rub unless the tire was almost flat. Spacers act like a wheel with too much offset, put more of a load on the bearings, and effect your alignment. I'd try it for a while and check it.

A thin 1/4" spacer wont hurt your bearings, but unless it rubs I wouldn't use them. Just drive it and check after doing some cornering to see if it rubs.

I will drive it around before deciding to change anything. Its going to be awhile before I get to drive it though. Car is still in a million pieces.
