Default 1st Gen no air ducts

My 67 'Bird vert is going to be a fair weather car, above 40 and no rain ... lol . 99% top down since I live in Florida. So I don't plan on reinstalling any of the duct work. Most of it was missing anyway when I got the car years ago. Any suggestions on what to do with the holes on each side of the dash where the globe vents used to go. Figure I could just weld the closed but looking for suggestions.

You can weld them shut, or buy/build blank off plates.

Why not leave the globe vents there, later you may decide to install avintage air kit on your car and the vents just look cool.
