1st gen disc brake

Hello I am new to the forum. My current project is to build my 67 firebird to auto cross and maybe road race.
my question or issue is that I have a disc brake conversion that I put on 10 years ago or so. I’m not sure where I bought it but it did allow me to run the factory 14” steel wheels if that tells you anything. I now have 16”x8” wheel vintuque gennies Painted black with some Goodyear f1 tires. I love this wheel and tire combo but I would like more stopping power. Is there a good option or a bigger setup to retain the 16” wheel? Or what about a dual caliper setup? I’m not sure if dual is even a option. If you could spread out 2 calipers you think that would help the braking with out going to the big brakes. The guys that put dual on the back is that for drifting setups?
thanks

Thanks for the website, I just saved it to my favorites. They have discounted prices right now, cheapest I've found.
