1st gen disc brake
Hello I am new to the forum. My current project is to build my 67 firebird to auto cross and maybe road race.
my question or issue is that I have a disc brake conversion that I put on 10 years ago or so. I’m not sure where I bought it but it did allow me to run the factory 14” steel wheels if that tells you anything. I now have 16”x8” wheel vintuque gennies Painted black with some Goodyear f1 tires. I love this wheel and tire combo but I would like more stopping power. Is there a good option or a bigger setup to retain the 16” wheel? Or what about a dual caliper setup? I’m not sure if dual is even a option. If you could spread out 2 calipers you think that would help the braking with out going to the big brakes. The guys that put dual on the back is that for drifting setups? thanks |
The Right Stuff has a C6 kit that is what I think your looking for !!

Thanks for the website, I just saved it to my favorites. They have discounted prices right now, cheapest I've found.
