1968 RS vs. 1969 convertible
I am new to camaros but have always wanted one there are 2 I am lookings at and the both need work I can get both for near the same price point, both are V-8's. what should I look for when checking these out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, new to Camaros |
i guess u will need to look at them with the frame of mind of what u want to do with the car. if u want it to go fast then i would go with the hard top.(safer and lighter) if u want to get a more notable car that will be worth more $$ then go with the softtop. condition will be another $$$ concern. if $$ is a constraint the softtop will most likely cost more to restore.

You are asking for a lot of information. People have written books and not covered everything. I suggest you get some of the books and do a ton of research.
What are your concerns? General condition? Current Value? Future Value? Restoration cost? Questions for you would be? What do you want? Hot rod? Collector car? 1/4 mile speed demon? Weekend crusier? Do you want a car that will turn head and impress 95% of the people or do you want car guys to drool all over it? Do you want to do a restoration that will last 30 years or just get solid? |
