Vibration
Hello! Help. I purchased a 2018 Camaro SS with 1928 miles from North Carolina dealership. Long distance so did not test drive. The back story is low miles as it was owned by a collector. He passed away and the car was sold back to the dealership. Love the car but here is my problem.
The tires obviously have great tread but the dates on the tires are 2017! The car vibrates at various speeds. I have had the tires balanced, the second time " Road Force balanced". Didn't help. Do I need to buy new tires. I would like to confirm that nothing else is wrong before I purchase tires. I was told by the tire shop that if it isn't tires it could be that the bushings have dried out. Does this make sense? Help.... |
Seems like there was a thread in here about a transmission issue in that vintage recently.
Some fairly simple fix at the dealer as I recall. |
One thing I did not mention, the vibration is only in the seat, not in the steering wheel.

May or may not be your problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/camaro/comm...eed_automatic/
It could be a bad u-joint but doubtful at that low mileage. |
