Default 2015 Hood won't go flush in front

I have a 2015 LT and after I recently purchased I noticed the sides of the front of the hood are high while where it latches is flush. I opened the hood and adjusted the rubber bumpers and now it looks like it has dipped in the middle more and the hood is below the cowl closer to the middle. I'd like to get some tips on how this is to be properly adjust or what can I do?

Default Still can't get good flush

I bought the car like this. I tried using the torx screw and the rubber mounts. But I can't get it to go flush. Any tips? Car was in an accident and this hood is not original. Is it possibly bent? Also the cowl is not original.

well either the front bumper cover mounting brackets are not aligned right or the hood is the wrong shape. looks like the hood latch is set to low to try and get the outside edges to line up. dont know what the hood is made of on the gen 6-7 but if its metal you may be able to bend the outside edges down enough to make it line up. may need to heat the paint up a bit to try and prevent cracking. not to much, dont want to burn the paint or cause it to lose its bond. maybe stop by a body shop and ask for pointers

Default Camaro hood not flush

Thank you. I was told by the previous owner that the bumper was from an RS and that was the problem. But then I was told by a Camaro owner that did not matter. I will see if I can take to a body shop.

One thing I notice is the the contour of the bumper does not match the hood. So here in the pic I put a line above where the bumper shape changes. I put an arrow below where the hood shape changes. These are supposed to line up. But I do not know of the bumper is wrong or if the hood is wrong. The marks are yellow. Its hard to see in the bumper but its there.

Hey if you are still following this the body shop said its likely bent frame rails which is also likely wht it has an orange title. So maybe there is nothing to be done on the matter. Sh't! I'd like to know what you think in it.

get under the front and see if you can see any metal that looks like its been bent. if the center has been pushed up a tad it may do that. it does look like the fenders are lining up pretty good. I am wondering if its like the 4th gen and the front bumper cover is a bit@h to line up. maybe stop by a different shop and get second opinion.
