What's the next stage?

Ok so i got the k&n air intake filter and the magnaflow catback exhaust system..what's the next step?

deyem1 Dec 11, 2010 06:43 PM

oh yeah the magnaflow part number that i got was 16579 if anyone knows anything about that one

Headers, cam, and tune...maybe intake/throttle body upgrade too.

Then F/I or spray or both and tune...

Maybe throw in some suspension along the way if thats your thing. The lights here are pretty much straight so I dont need to turn.

Headers, Gears for sure!!!, Suspension, and a Tune is what I would start with. Then if you want to get nasty, look into a cam. If this is your DD, I'd recommend a VERY mild cam.

so i'm looking up headers and they seem fairly inexpensive...exactly what would be the benefit?

deyem1 Dec 12, 2010 04:12 AM

i'm not sure if i should go headers or tuner next

deyem1 Dec 12, 2010 05:58 AM

gonna go with headers, does it matter what brand? like i said i have the magnaflow catback exhaust

edog2 Dec 12, 2010 09:31 AM

You want to do a tune last so everything you put in will be working at its best.

deyem1 Dec 12, 2010 10:10 AM

i thought so, i was considering that diablo tuner until i saw that headers were at about the same price or a little more
