I don't exactly want to void my warranty, but I like seeing others who have!
Anyone else truly mod it yet, with power gain results? Expecting to see a supercharger- etc.

Im planning on buying one soon. Only problem is, this car is not yet established on how reliable it is, so voiding the warranty is a problem.

Wink

I didn't say it was SMART ...I asked if anyone has.
Boys like to play with their toys!

Since this thread started, there has been a few more popping up on you tube -besides the Aftermarket "company" cars.

I'm still waiting to order ours... and waiting... Did prices come down below MSRP yet? LOL... and waiting.... still waiting!

It may take a while before meanigful and useful power mods are made available for this engine. This is a very complex engine with 4 cams, direct injection, variable cam timing, and the ability to burn regular gas with an 11.5:1 compression. It is going to take some time for the after market people to figure things out and make mod parts that actually work and are reasonably priced.

Thumbs up

True.
They pretty much MAXED that V6 without REALLY messing with it.
BUT- I would like to see a V6 BUILT to the max and see what they end up with!

The V8 is simpler... Intake + Exhaust -Get it to breathe better, Cam it, etc... 500 WHP is accessible -♥relatively cheap!♥-

Default G5CR Intake

I put a Gen 5 Camaro Racing (G5CR)Stage 2 Cold Air Intake on my V6 today. The install was very easy, took less than an hour. Looks great, sounds a little deeper, and it has a slight whistling sound like a turbo spooling. Not sure about that yet...

I had to take my car into Chevy to have both side windows replaced, they were scratched at time of delivery. My service writer showed me a memo from Chevy saying that aftermarket air filters cause problems with the Mass Airflow Sensor from oil build up over time from the re-usable filters(K&N, Air Raid, G5CR...)

Has anyone else heard anything about this???

I've heard of that before, I prefer the AEM DryFlow Oil less Filter.

Default Port & Polish

I'm going to put a 3.6 Di V6 in my Corse kit car.
Just opened up the intake manifold to find there is quite a lot of improvment to be had by tidying up the air flow in there. There are casting split lines and flash that can be smoothed away and corner radius to be improved on. Just smoothing out the rough cast surfaces should bring some improvment.

I have a question??? Do I need to get the cat back exhaust for my 2010 v6? Or will an axle back give me the same sound?

Seems you cannot order an AEM for a 2010 model yet.
