Ya, the tint is run down between the light and glass. There is a little space in there. IMO looks better than cutting out around it and its still fully visable when it is lit.
You should be able to have them hold a scrap piece up to the glass to see how dark it will be.

were you from i am in long island ny. i think the car has some blind spots when changing lanes and i think anything darker then 35 is going to suck for me

I had an 06 Eclipse that I traded in when I got the Camaro, so I was used to the huge blind spots. If anything the Camaro is a little better. Never noticed the tint hindering my vision. Im at Ft Carson CO.
