I paid 32 for my SS.
I always look at KBB and see what are they going for with the options I want to see if I got a good deal. Just go with a reasonable offer that you think is fair and stick too it. Just remember that the dealer has to make money too, but it just doesnt have to be a truck load of it at your expence.

I can say this I just bought mine last weekend. I got a Synergy Green LS. The only options that are on my car are an automatic transmission and the synergy green paint. Sticker was $24,925. I told all of them "I will buy this car this weekend if you just get right on the price. I have a $3,000 down payment and perfect credit." 3 different dealers let me walk out without going any lower than $23,980. In the end that's what I paid.
I was surprised to say the least. The last two cars I had bought were a 2009 Jeep patriot and 2010 Ford Fusion. I got both for between $4000 and $4500 off sticker and they both had a lower initial sticker price. All the Chevy dealers told me that GM was just not pricing like that any more.
Maybe you can get more than a $1,000 off sticker on a higher end model but on the base models they are not moving much.
Also flat refuse to pay anything for paint of fabric protection or any other grossly inflated dealer add on. The one I bought had a "Paint protection package" added as a dealer add on that they listed seperately for $525. I told them right off the bat that I did not even want to know what the "Paint protection package" consisted of and that I would not pay even so much as one dime for it and if at any point in the process it was ever brought up again I would walk out. It was never mentioned again.

When I bought my 2011 SS last fall, there was up to an $8,000 difference between dealers!
IMO, this is often the worst time of year to buy a car like a Camaro unless it's last year's holdover. (Realize that a holdover likely won't be exactly what you want.) The dealers will no doubt be tough as summer is approaching. If you can get 10% off the MSRP plus any other factory incentives, it's probably a good deal at this time. Another thing to watch are those "market adjustments" that some dealers try to add onto the MSRP. There are plenty of dealers who do not add those extra charges. IMO, if you can hold out until August, you will likely get a much better deal.

Ok; any dealer will come off Sticker about $1,000. If you saw an $8,000 difference between dealers are you saying you found a dealer willing to sell you a new Camaro for $9,000 off sticker?
