Default Want to put a carbed 350 v-8 in a 2010 v-6 camaro with manual

I understand it will take special motor mounts, a fuel pressure regulator, but do you guys think the v-6 5-speed transmission will handle a under 300hp carbed v8? I would love to drop one in a 20k v-6 camaro and have my poor man's SS !!

Only way I can afford it at this point - do you guys think it can be done? Please let me know !

Are you serious?.....isn't the new V6 already a 300hp motor, why would anyone pull apart a new car like that and butcher it up.
Poor mans SS? who can buy a 2010 Camaro and profess to be a "poor man".
Furthermore,20k miles on a 2010 already? how did you mange that?
Sorry if I seem skeptical but this makes no sense at all, don't you have emissions testing with that new car?
I know some areas don't as I live in one but I wouldn't mess up all that in case I wanted to resell,I've even kept it intact on my '93.

You'll kill the Value of the Camaro, and Void your Factory Powertrain warranty.

He had to have meant a 2000 camaro. It's a lot easier to belive he made a mistake in the title. If not this has to be the dumbest idea ever!

Why not just supercharge the base v6 for about the same money?

Most supercharger companies offer warranties on their products if you have a professional install it so you wouldn't have to worry about the warranty...

I know Lingenfelter is currently developing their V6 unit - do a search on youtube

Well that would sure make a lot more sense,I'd still bag the SC idea if he wants a reliable long distance cruiser.

LOL pull a 305 HP v6 and install a 300hp V8 and take a car worth 25K and turn it into a car worth 15K that will not pass emissions anywhere and gets half the miles per gallon. Maybe when your done you can figure out how to convert one of those new jet air planes over to a prop style Or convert a house with a heat pump over to base board electric heat.

Poor mans SS?, no, Morons wanabe SS.
