The SS got a new friend....
So, as some of you may know I've got a friend of mine thats always been into mustangs, etc etc..... Well, after driving my car and hounding him for 4 1/2 years comparing mustang to camaro, I think I pretty much converted him over...lol.
Well, even though it sucked to do, he sold the car in july and ordered a 2010 2SS RS. The car he sold was a 2004 GT, heads/cams/exhaust/gears/315's/dyno tune.... Fun car, it was pretty sentimental, hell I even miss it.. Had a lot of memories in that damn thing..
Well, after waiting... (less than we thought we would have to) the 2010 arrived at the dealership yesterday. Black with inferno orange interior, LS3..
It'll be going to the paint shop sometime to have the midnight wheels darkened more, along with painted flat black stripes (the ones from the convertible concept, not production), tint, black/tinted bowties, and possibly tinted lights. The RS tint looks good though, so that'll probably stay.
Anyway, I don't have any pictures of it yet but you all know how they look, hopefully I'll have a few pics of both the SS's together along with some before/after shots of the work that'll be going into the 2010...
oh, and yesterday I finally drove my first 2010, and damn its nice..

I like where he's going with his 2SS. I took delivery of mine one week ago. It is sweet. 2SS, RS, 21" Black Rim Upgrade, Ground Effects, LS3, loaded. I've already broke the engine in with 1300 miles. Yesterday I had the Datmobile up to 135 coming out of 4th @ 5500 rpm, about to slam 5th but I had no place to go. I thinks it's capped at 155 but Hennessey will take care of that for me. Have fun!
