Something like this?

I have a spot that needs some love too, one of the comments says the filler looks great, but a higher quality paint would be needed for seamlessness.

I have the same problem, i got my '10 2ss on long island too, and the Pirelli rims and tires package (21" rims). The chrome on my front rim got gouged. It's visable in only an area of about 6 inches or so, but thats a third of the entire rim, mind you. I want to get it fixed, it looks very unsightly. Let me know if you get any solutions that actually work

Well I am going to get the permetex today if I remember on the way home. It seems to be nothing more than bondo for rims, then paint to match. Do they have decent chrome paint? It should work, just depends on the effort put into the repair. the link to the ls1 thread above shows some pretty impressive results.

the charge 135
no matter i big or small the scrape or chip is. but when the guys gets to your house just talk to him about the price like i did i got one rim fixed for 100 dollares and the other rim fix for 85. if you have the midnight sliver rims do not waste your time trying to match the paint youe self you will not find it anyware trust me fixrim.com matched it when he spryed the rim and it was like a new rim give them a call.

So just for you I spent 20 bones. Here are the results.

I liked the turn out of the texture, but the supplied paint was too dark and too metally flaky for the rims. I think if I get the right paint it would be perfect.

I suppose that after they get dirty again it will be even harder to see, but it it pretty evedent from close up that the pain isnt quite right.
