Default Paddle Shifters?

I would love to have a paddle shifter option on the 5th Gen. -- anyone else?

I prefer the traditional way, makes you look a cut above alll those auto drivers.

Traditional way? 6 speed with a clutch pedal? The Paddle shifters would be sweet as an option for the automatic. like the new vettes.

And while there has been no direct confirmation from any sources that I've heard, I think it is very likely to be available.

I'll have to go back and look at some old posts on one of the forums, someone that was taking pics ofa couple ofpre-production cars in Florida got to look at the interior while talking to the Chevy test crew, they would not allow pics of the interior (he took a lot of great shots of the exterior), but I think he mentioned something about seeing paddle shifters on them.

I did go through a bunch of posts and a couple of podcasts, have not found the info yet, but will post it when I do.

They do have paddle shifters that also work with a clutch, correct?

Not aware of that on any GM cars (or Ford or Chrysler). It is a doable concept, but very expensive, not likely to be seen on any standard assembly line production vehicle in thenear future in my opinion.
