Default Help needed! Car start strange issue

I own a 2016 Camero SS 6.2L. A weird thing happens where once in a while, when parking the car for a short while (10-15 minutes), the battery is too weak to start the car and I need to hook up cables.
this only happens occasionally, once every 1-2 months.

If the car sits over night, or even a week, it starts with no problem at all.
The battery is new, just put it in a few months ago, after the last battery died (it was the original one from 2016.)

The alternator gage shows that it is charging, and as mentioned, generally it does start.
I can’t figure out what the problem is.

I did notice that when I drive with the lights on, the charge is higher, and then it seems to always start, so my solution for now is always driving with the headlights on. But I would really like to figure out what the issue is.

Does anyone have any ideas????

How many miles on the car and has the alternator ever been replaced? It may be going south on you even if it's changing most of the time.
Are you sure the battery cables are clean and tight? They should have been cleaned when the battery was replaced, even if they looked clean a residue can form that makes for a bad connection.
There's also the possibility the battery itself is bad, wouldn't be the first new bad battery I've seen.
Another possibility is the starter may be getting weak,do you have headers? Heat sink from hot exhaust can cause a starter to fail until it cools down, common problem with headers on the older cars, can't say I know much about the newer ones.

The car has about 20K miles on it.
The alternator gage is always between 12 to 16, moving within that range, depending on whether the lights are on or if I’m braking and such.

I doubt it’s the starter, otherwise connecting jumper cables wouldn’t solve the problem. (I think)
Have no idea whether the cables were cleaned.

Re the battery, I was thinking that maybe the battery type they put in isn’t strong enough. What is the battery that Camero 2016 ss 6.2 is supposed to have?

Like I said I don't know a lot about the newer stuff but a google search or a call to a Chevy dealer should get you battery info.
A jump can be enough to help a weak starter turn sometimes but only 20K on the car the starter and alternator should be still good but there's no guarantees they aren't failing even with low mileage.
You didn't answer if you have headers or not and I'd suggest you clean up and tighten those cables since you apparently didn't install the new battery yourself.
It could be as simple as that,I've seen guys replace batteries alternators and starters when all that was wrong was a bad battery connection.

The Camaro has three items continually drawing power -
ECM for remembering engine running requirements learned.
BCM for remembering other vehicle operations learned and locked/unlocked conditions.Radio for rembering station presets and audio presets.

You may need to add a battery maintainer and plug it into the wall.
