In 1989 GM built a Iroc with a extra firm LE one suspension. They offered it in a convertable. Customer brought his back the first day and said the rag top sounds like its going to fall off. I took the car out and it was as quite as you would expect until I hit a bump. There must have been 30 spacers all jiggled at the same time. The other mechanic looks at me with a smile on his face and said, fix that. To this day when I think of that I laugh. There is no fix, nothing was broken. It was just a bad design. Customer was pissed. But like has been stated. "Is the car safe, does in function as intended?" New cars have annoyed people as long as I can remember. I just have never seen a lawsuit for it.
