I'm not a current owner but a future owner (looking to trade in my avalanche at the end of the year) and have some questions.
I'm looking at buying brand new, but what are the major differences between the 1LS and 1LT? performance wise if any? And how accommodating are rear facing car seats? thanks

uberD, the 1LS and 1LT are no different from one another as far as performance. The only differences would be internal options like remote start which the 1LS doesn't have available to it but the 1LT does. The LS trims also don't have power seats and other options like that. That would be the only differences. I hope this helps you.
