Front License Plate
I was told I would not get a ticket for not having my front plate on...but I got a warning then now a ticket. I have a 2010 and would like to know how to put the front bracket on to hold the plate without drilling the bumper. Any suggestions?

there are some aftermarket options that don't require drilling

Your dealer should have a custom made bracket for your car.

Swift Motorsports makes a pop up front license plate. You can choose between spring loaded or motorized and is easy to install. If you look at the pics on my profile you can see the plate when it is hidden and when it is out (no video, sorry). The downside is you do have to drill but in an inconspicuous spot. I chose the hard route and put it on the top of the lower grille but you can put it on the very bottom of the car. either way it looks great and very incognito. Do a search on youtube for a video of it.

I was going to use 3M heavy duty outdoor double sticky tape once I get a warning. It is supposed to hold like 15 lbs or something like that. Also put on a safety string just in case.

that seems to be exactly what i used for my 95 z28. had about 10k mls with that taped plate and it resists the kärcher and anything else

Check out this link for a hidden or under the bumper mount. I'm thinking about it myself.

mount it about 1" lower, and use a heavy zip tie through the bracket holes, around the center portion of the grille. I REFUSE to drill into a CAMARO BUMPER!

Personally i would just display my front license plate in my passengers side front window. That is what we do here in texas. Cops won't mess with you as long as you have one present there.
