Calling using bluetooth
Hello all,
On the 2010 Camaro, does anyone know how to get the bluetooth to default on blutooth for out going calls and not to default on calling using ONSTAR. Sometimes when I press the phone button on the stering wheel to make a call using voice activation. I say "Call Sharon" then the lady's voice comes on and says "Call Sharon using ONstar". Then the voice says sorry you don't have enough minutes to make the call. But I am not paying for onstar. I just want to make a phone call through the bluetooth feature. Sometimes I can get past this by hanging up and making another call and saying bluetooth. Then the ladys voice says "blutooth activated". Then I have to hang up. And call again and say "Call Sharon". Then the call goes through. This is really frustrating and somewhat embarrasssing when you have someone in the car. Do you have to subscribe to ONstar to make calls or what? Has anyone else had this delima? Peeler |
If you check in your owners manual there are clear directions on how to make a call with the bluetooth system. It's in section 6 on page 24. This method would be the quickest and easiest way to make a call through your bluetooth system. I hope this helps and if you continue to have issues let me know.
