pcv valve on 3.8 (Full Version)

Does the 3.8 on camaros have a pcv valve and where in the heck is it located. I have looked but it is sure hiding good and wanting to check it out

Yes. Look on the intake manifold. It is covered with a black diamond piece.

No problem. Most vehicles I have owned, the PCV valve is on or around the valve cover. This one is strange to me.

the pcv is located on the front driver side of the motor and it has two metal tubes going to your upper intake manifold on the top right side above your water outlet and the other into your headers or stock exhaust manifold. hope i helped, im looking to eliminate mine because the metal tube to my header is messed up and has an exhaust leak but i dont know where i can have my computer tuned for it so for now its on.

I hope you realize you are talking about the EGR...

i am an idiot, i even went to pep boys to get the gasket for it and i asked for the egr gasket, i just got confused when i read the message i guess, my apologies
