The Flowmaster muffler sounds awesome, escpecially if you chop out the cat and fill in with a peice of pipe.

Flow master, Borla, edlebrock Remove the Cat converter and hog it out. Some states look to see if it there. There are also some good free flowing cat converters. I hogged mine out and put on free flowiing exhaust, big change in sound and performance.

really all you can do is up grade what is there.duals is most likely out because it is not enough room under the car.dynomax cat-back is what i got.the muffler was too quiet so it was changed out for a flowmaster.the pipes has been on the car for 13 to 14yrs. the z was a daily driver for about 10 of those years. it is just now starting to rust where it turns to go over the rear end.it was clearly worth the money i think.
