98 Z28 AUTOMATIC SHIFTER STUCK

I had to jump start my car, and now my shifter is stuck in park!! Can anyone help me??

Check to make sure you didn''t blow any fuses. Your problem sounds liek it''s related to the shifter safety interlock. (when you step on the brake pedal, it unlocks the shifter)

Do you know what fuses to check? How would I know if it is the shift interlock? Does it have anything to do with the solenoid? Thanks!

Fusebox is on the left side of the steering wheel, on the side part of the dashboard. Theres a little cover that you can take off, and it labels what all the fuses are connected to/responsible for.

I agree with camaro69, this problem sounds like your shifter safety interlock is stuck and has locked you out
