I have a 95 Z28 Automatic 3.23 gears and the rear end is starting to make some noise. I have found a 95 formuls rear with 3.42 gears with 60,000 miles on it so I am doing a complete swap. Will there be anything different between the two? ANd what kind of performace difference will I get for changing to 3.42 gears?

Nothing is different, you could just swap out the ring and pinon if you wanted to. As far as performance: decreased gas milage, slightly increased acceleration, decreased top speed.
