I need suggestions in restoring my 67 RS SS.

I was thinking of starting with a new 572  and work around it for a street rod type of modification.

Any suggestions?

The normal way to restore a car is by taking it all apart, and putting it back together again, replacing and fixing what needs it along the way.
That''s the simple explanation. The hard part is deciding what else to do. From your brief description, it sounds as though you''re not going for a complete "factory original" restoration? Most of what you decide needs to be a personal choice, based on what you lik(e). Ask what you "should" do, and you''ll get a lot of different opinions. How far away, or how close to normal do you want to keep the car? Look through magazines, and pics of other''s cars to get some ideas as well.
One thing you should consider is the collectibility of your car, since it’s an RS SS. Going radical, as some people have, could actually hurt the value of the car somewhat. But it is your car, and you need to enjoy it once you’re done.
