When im driving my ''00 z28 hard, i can smell something burning. I think it might be the oil. It tends to only happen when i floor it and stay on it, or when i reach speeds of 130+. Is this a big problem? How can i fix it?

If you''re going 130 on the street, the cops may wind up taking care of your problem since you won''t be able to smell your car from the impound lot. You could have any number of leaks, such as a leaky valve cover gasket letting oil drip on the exhaust manifold. Pop your head under the hood and do some investigating.

Thx for the help and warnings guys. I try to be safe about it, I live in the country, so i rarely see cops.
