Burning Smell - 7/23/2008 1:22:51 PM    JESS_2000_Z28   Posts: 15 Score: 0 Joined: 7/4/2008 Status: offline When im driving my ''00 z28 hard, i can smell something burning. I think it might be the oil. It tends to only happen when i floor it and stay on it, or when i reach speeds of 130+. Is this a big problem? You could have any number of leaks, such as a leaky valve cover gasket letting oil drip on the exhaust manifold.
