the nigh shade comes off pretty easy to if you had to remove it. just take some paint thinner, damp some into a rag, and rub the tail lights. i had to do that bc the cops here were getting on me about it. either way it should look good. the only thing is the lenses will cover the whole tail light. with the spray, you could do your own thing with the tail lights. for example, on mine, i didnt just black out the entire tail light. i masked off the reverse lights and only tinted the red and i liked how it looked, but thats me

I say nightshade. lenses have a tendency to pop off, and they don't always fit perfectly flush. Plus somebody can't steal your tint if it's sprayed on.

Yeah just make sure it is a clean surface. If your tail lights are pretty beat up from age, then maybe a quick wet sand with 400 grit wouldn't be so bad, but it shouldnt be needed. It's also easier to spray them on a bench so you don't have to worry about masking off around the light and stuff. Tail lights take all of 2 minutes to take out. Spray about 6-8 inches away from the light and only do one or two strokes per coat and let each coat dry. I went too crazy and three coats later, my tail lights were BLACK!

Also, make sure the mist pattern is up and down (top to bottom), not wide (left to right). Top to bottom will make it easier to have an even coat across the entire light.
