Default Fried Rice

Was on the freeway saturday night, doing about 80 passing everyone, when a Cavalier pulls in behind me and wont back off. I figured, fine, I'll let him by. Didn't look like a cholo or a ricer. That is, until he pulled next to me. Bumper kits and fart pipes. I was NOT going to let that thing get away. Once he got right next to me I floored it, gained the 1/2 car he had on me from goin faster than me to begin with, and gained about 3/4 of a car but the time we hit 100. At that point my truck was startin to top out, it only has a 3-speed in it, and we held there for a while before he decided to go. I was following him for a while to try and get another run out of him when I noticed flashing lights in my rear-view and slowed blended with traffic ASAP. Turned out to be on the access road though, I wish I had taken the chance.[:@]

Be careful driving like that, especially with a vehicle thats not made for it, and can not stop or turn as fast as you might need to if the unexpected happens. Dont get me wrong, Im all for going fast, but do it safely and dont put others in danger,

I've got a '79 stepper with a 260 horse crate in it. It actually holds up pretty well, I can stop faster than my bro's nova. we were racing on clear road, I followed him when traffic came up. There's no way I'm going to race with any amount of traffic, last thing I want to do is wreck someone. My steering is really good, I've made hard turns at 65 with no issues at all. it wasn't too new of a Cavvy it was a 2000 model if I'm not mistaken.
I completely agree with you carguy, I hate it when ppl go and start endangering other drivers. Open road all the way!! That or a track, 1/4 is the most fun to me.
Let's hope my Camaro build will kill off a couple of these things, I'm shooting for a good 350 tunnel ram for the '75!
