Ya, thats what one of the guys at the track said too. I do feel a bit of a difference with it though and there are no shops around Augusta. The one that was here is shut down. I did find out the owner operator of MGW lives here though so I am going to have to check that out. Maybe he can get a lead for me. I am debating a refund on the tuner.

Oh yeah, I am thinking 4.33 instead of 4.10. It's only 15 miles to work anyway.

Did you have traction control on or off. You lose time to it, with it off you will have a hard to keeping traction, I would guess it will be even worse if you change your gears. I would get really good at making it go down the track with all the nanny controls off and gettting your 60' below 2 sec before would change gearing. What is going to help you most at this point is track time, lots of it. Money isn't going to make you go faster till you can master what you have.

If you want an idea of what your trying to achieve with driver skill here is a list LINKY

First time I used the launch control (poorly). I turned everything off on my second trip out and did much better. I am going to try a combo tonight and see if it helps out any. I am getting faster every time so we will have to see. The gear change is in the future anyway, I have to save up that $$$.

I have been looking at the fast list on one of the other sites and see that indeed I suck compared to those guys, but I use it as a gauge to see just how I stack up. I am inching in on the bone stock guys, but I have CAI, exhaust, and can tune.

The second set of slips.

#1 LC on
#2 no TC
#3 Great RT, crappy run
#4 Raced friend's Can-Am
#5 felt like a horrible run, best run to date

Got to the track as someone blew an engine all the way down, so waited an hour for clean-up. Started runs around 840, and there was dew forming already. Hopefully a dry night tonight.

Went to Scotty Richardson drag school. Best I could get was 13.115 @ ~110. That was out of 28 runs. I know I have that 12 in there somewhere, but as was stated above I got to get that take off down. On my better runs I hit the limiter about a car length after the line in 3rd.

So my most recent run got me were I wanted to be before getting the 3.91's put in.

Got my <13 in at 12.888 60' was 1.993. Two goals down in one awesome run.

Only thing new this time was some BFG G-Force Comp2's.

Ran it with the gears and a little disappointment. Got a 13.03 @ 107.6 wit a 1.96 60'. The pull is definitely there, I think I am losing the time with wheel spin on 2nd and the additional gear shift.

The whole breakdown is:
1.964 60'
5.552 330'
8.465 1/8 @ 85.87
13.036 @ 107.63

My best run (before gears):
1.993 60'
5.549 330'
8.420 (420 ha ha) 1/8 @ 85.75
12.888 @ 107.21

Anyone care to offer their expertise? I have a log of the 13.036 run on the diablo if anyone cares to get that deep into it for me.
