P/S pump bracket 454
Hey, helping my daughter put an early 454 in her 79. Now... what bracket works on this engine for the existing factory power steering pump? 350 coming out. Thanks guys!

If you have the stock 350 pump bracket, then all you need is a L bracket to align it and allow adjustment for belt tensioning. Might use a couple washers or a spacer on the pivot bolt (can't remember) but that's all.

This one will space it out and allow adjustment too:

pretty sure the big block stuff is the same just have to deal with clearance issues on the gearbox as you will be slightly closer to it second is to recomend to fully weld the front subframe if you have anything over 300 hp the weight and tourque can mis shape your subfram making the steering do crazy stuff when under hard acceleration or you can bend it and be all sorta screwed at the track mid launch

There's plenty of room for headers, and no problems accessing plugs when doing a tune up either. I enjoyed working on the BBC much more than on SBC cars, just because of clearances.

greencamaro1981, yeah subframe connectors are already bought, wasn't a problem figuring that part out even though it's a mild build. Gearbox? 1971BB427, my only other concern was headers. We have sidepipes, so are considering these rear dump collectors. I know Hooker Competition has full length that work well but want to keep the sidepipes. My last concern actually was the tall aluminum valve covers we have. Heard they might hit the power brake booster. Thanks guys!

Yes, the tall valve covers will definitely not clear a stock booster. You'll need one of the small after market boosters. Might be an issue on the heater box side too. I'm not sure on those shorty headers with angle rear collectors, as you didn't mention the brand. I know Hedman will clear everything with a similar design:
