Front sway bar dimension request
Hi, new the forums, figure the second post (copy and pasted from my first post) should include something about myself rather than a request.. well its gonna be both lol. Im a Level 1 Master Tech at BMW with 5 years experience. Been motor swaping my cars for the past 7 years. In the past i had an
1987 Silverado long bed with a 496bbc th400 and a ford 9"
1993 Mustang GT w/ 2003 4.6l 3650 5 speed
1987 Silveardo short bed 5.3 (ls1) 4l06e w/ c5/6 rear brakes
1999 BMW 528i w/ 5.7 (ls1) 4l60e and an 03 cobra center section.
Ive been fooling around trying to find a sway bar that will fit the BMW and called 3 different companies asking for measurements on their sway bars and no dice. I figure this is the next logical step, ask the people who own the cars!
Looking at ebay and summit racing the 67-69 camaro has a sway bar that looks like it would fit, but I need some dimensions before I buy a bar.
The dimensions I would need are:
center to center of the sway bar bushing
inside to inside of the bend right after the bushing where it starts to bend towards the suspension
center to center of the end link hole.
the newer 2010 camaros looks like it could work too, just havent made a post on that forum. Any help would be awesome. Thanks again
