Thanks. The code came back today. I think something that the computer is seeing is also throwing the calibration off, but I have no way to check it. Could be dirt, but I cleaned everything there last year, including the sensor. I'm pretty sure it only happens in closed-loop. I decided to order a new sensor. Will let you all know next week if that solves it.

Then, I stopped the car but let it idle while I giggled the MAF wiring and connector. Also rapped on the top of the sensor, but not even the slightest blip in the output. Guys, the new MAF arrived today, and I quickly ohmed the terminals. Sure enough, one of the readings was way different from the old one. I installed it, cleared the code, and took it for a spin. No coughing and no MIL. Thank God and that you guys too!
