Default That sad time of year!

As you other northerners already know. It's that depressing time of the year here in western NY. Just winterized the Z and tucked it away in the back of the garage. Dropping into the 30s now at night and snow flurries forecasted this week. I am jealous of you southern boys! I wont drive it again until April, unless we have a freak warm spell. Why do I live here again? I guess I need reminding!!!

I'm planning on at least one more errand into town with mine. Temps are supposed to be in the balmy mid 60's over the weekend!

Mine's been parked at my dad's since April, waiting for him to take the time to replace the heater core and o-ring seals. It'll stay parked there, now, until next April.

I think I should've just paid someone to do it. :/

I know why I live in the North.
I love it here in the PAC NW in the Summer time but I can see myself becoming a snowbird come retirement and Wintering in AZ.
There's no place nicer when the sun comes out but those long Winters seem to get longer every year.

When it gets like this I'm ready to go South,

That last pic on the bottom will look like my back yard in another month! I got the snow shovels ready!

After having mine tore apart all summer, I am glad for winter, so everybody around me wont be driving by and honking as they're headed to a cruise and I'm stuck in the driveway! Now I can finish in time for spring cruises!

Agreed - it rains sometimes but no snow here in the OC. But if you want to play in the snow the mountains are only a couple hours away.

This may sound ridiculous, but I can't wait to get back to the northeast. I've lived in Hawaii for 11.5 years now and am FINALLY getting to go back to new england. Perfect weather EVERY day of the year is SOOOOOOOOOO boring!!! It's the old "grass is always greener on the other side" thing. Hawaii, a GREAT place to visit, or HORRIFIC place to live.

That's the best thing you can do-every day that you can drive that baby is a day stolen from winter.
