Maybe it would be helpful if the nomination and voting threads were made as announcements (rather than stickys) so they show up in every sub-forum?

I do like the idea of a schedule, but the burnout contest, and christmas theme and just specialized topics like that made it a lot better in my opinion. It seemed more fun and was cause for more conversing instead of just enter, vote, done.

yah once or twice a year is ok but then it should be picture of the month. its more about a picture than the ride.

I like the variety, as doing the same thing twice a year get's boring and predictable. I do agree that every generation should have their month, just not twice a year. I think for the other months it might be interesting to do things like "highly modified Camaros, any year", or "race Camaros", or "OT cars".
Variety is more apt to get interest from a cross section of members. Considering the variety of member's rides here, we might draw in those who feel their style of Camaro or OT car might not get any representation with just recyling the various generation Camaros.

That is perfect I think. Simply put, 5 months for each gen, then the 6th month for every gen. then the other 6 months for some fun interesting topics. Doesnt have to be right in a row either, but that basic lay out I believe would work perfectly.
Nice thinking BB.

I think that "OT Cars," as you call them, should be limited. After all, this is a CAMARO forum. And I think the "fun different topics" got a bit out of hand. When it was "post a patriotic picture with your Camaro" or "post a picture of your Camaro with this or doing that," it's about who has the best/most fitting picture, rather than being about the cars themselves. At that point, it becomes "Picture of the Month." If anything, that kept me from participating.
